Dragons of Living Life

“We men dream dreams, we work magic, we do good, we do evil.
Dragons do not dream.  They are dreams.
They do not work magic: it is their substance, their being.
They do not do; they are.”

~ Ursula K. Le Guin, The Farthest Shore ~

To the human mind, words are somewhat like “stations” full of life’s infinite experiences, be they in the past, present, or future. Both written and spoken words reside in our unremembered pasts, waiting for a yet-to-be future thought that would be spoken or written. You are reading words right now, right here on this page, on this website, at this very moment.  Words feel cherished when they are read. They have the ability to wiggle their way into our unimaginable distant futures and this exact moment. Some audible sounds actually cling to the forms and potentialities of what we verbally say or think.  Oh, how wonderful living life can be knowing that every breath we take can be magical and manic at the same time.

The essential nature of words cannot be exhausted by their meanings or importance.  “Words” confirm their usefulness and abilities as “transmitters of thoughts and ideas.”  Words express translatable concepts, such as the sound of a melody being sung or written.  Each of us is gifted with the ability to realize and honor all those infinite thoughts living within us.  Words are basically the food source for our ability to dream and create our own self-identity when we recognize that each is powerfully unique.  Words are the keeper, healer, judge, and advocate of all forms of communication. Without them, we’d be grunting our words and using sign language.

This website contains a variety of ways to transform ourselves and humanity.  It’s about sharing the raw truths of living our life authentically while trying to master the painful challenges of every day. Here, we have a sharing space where the poetry of life can soothe the mind, body, soul, and spirit simultaneously.  It’s about the magic buried deep within our souls and all around us.  It’s about knowing all the truths within your heart as well as all the dreams you create.

With that shared, I think I’ll take my heart for a walk in the woods and listen to the magical whispering of the trees. Remember, dear readers, life and living are important parts of learning. So learn the art of drawing a picture of your life without an eraser.

Feel free to comment or ask questions. Conversations create amazing connections and expand the mind and the heart. I’d love to hear from you.
