Visions of Totems

The picture attached below is something I drew during the dim times of my life.  It’s a bit faded on the paper.  Drawing the owl basically put me into another world.  I’ve always been drawn to the cool, quiet darkness of the night and I’m always up by 1 or 2 in the morning.  I have no fear of the darkness.  I love the magic and the darkness of the night hours.

Owls are majestic creatures.  However, the Owl is not my birth totem. I am of theRed Hawk/Falcon clan.  My gifts are mental speed, agility, and focus.  As a natural-born leader, my Falcon Totem has gifted me with clear judgment in sticky situations. We Falcons never waste time; we strike while the iron is hot, and take action in what must be done. Falcons are honored and respected for their keen eyesight, speed of flight, and precision of movement.

    Magic and Wisdom

Owl hunts his prey at night. Not only can Owl see in the dark, it can also accurately locate and recognize any sound. This gives it a great advantage when seeking food. Owl’s feathers are silent. You cannot hear an owl when it flies, but its prey definitely knows when it strikes! Owl is a symbol for wisdom, because Owl can see what others cannot. No one can deceive the Owl about what they are doing, no matter how hard they try to disguise or hide it from the Owl.

Would love to hear any feedback you have to offer!
