Personal Habits that Foster Balance of Mind, Body, Emotional, Spirit

Learning is a life-long task. Openness to new experiences and knowledge helps us continue to feel young at heart while keeping our human ego at bay.  We will never know everything – even though we think we can.  Life is always in a constant state of fluid movement, and learning will continue to be part of that movement.

Labor is working in a field and/or having hobbies an individual “loves to do.”  Those things that bring special meanings to life.  An individual working at a mundane job is difficult. Participating in hobbies will help you get great joy, big smiles, and lots of love into your life.

Love is the ability to give, recognize, and receive love. Loving self is usually the most difficult.  The ability to love, or even recognize love, can only be achieved by learning to love SELF first.  With self-love, we build the capacity to love and be loved when we are more grounded and positive. Our energy and ability to begin shining our own personal light toward others will always draw their love back to you.

Laughter is one of the best medicines out there.  Learning to laugh at yourself and with others is a gift that will keep on giving.  It lowers your blood pressure, makes you breathe much deeper (from the diaphragm), gets the circulation moving in the body, and calms the mind.

Letting go of things that cannot be controlled is, in essence, a way of eliminating the many negative thoughts that poison the mind. Learning we do not need to worry about all the “shoulds” and “would” helps reduce the stress levels within the mind, body, and soul.  The only moment we truly ever have is this exact moment – the future cannot be controlled because it doesn’t exist yet.

Begin your day by honoring your ability to love, labor with passion, love with love, laugh with love, and lovingly let go of things that do not serve you. Why? Because the world really wants to see your smile.
